Friel's Comet finishing their set with Ace Frehley’s “New York Groove”, lighting up The Vessel Taphouse last night. Well done y’all! Fun fact: That’s a glam rock tune right there, original UK chart hit was from British glam act “Hello”! Ace took it to the next level….as did the Friels & friends. Always loved this song.🤘🏼⚡️#acefrehley ... See MoreSee Less

Oh, damn. I love this guy’s music and spirit. I remember in the 1980’s my guitar teacher was slowly introducing me to players that matter. Jeff Beck. Me: “Is he a fast player?” (remember it was the 80’s). Guitar teacher: “Well, yeah, sometimes, but there’s a lot more to him than 16th notes.” God, yes. There was. There is. I saw him live twice and I’ll never forget it. The lyricism. My wife remarked whilst watching that she didn’t miss a singer….the guitar was doing it all. Master mechanic, maestro. I never get tired of hearing his playing. Rest in peace. My favorite guitarist, by a long shot. #jeffbeck ... See MoreSee Less
